Unfortunately, once the home has been auctioned off, it and all of its contents may belong to the buyer. You will need to contact the buyer to request a time that you may remove personal items from the home.
Due to theft and vandalism that sometimes occurs in these types of situations, the buyer would likely insist on being present when you are in the home. You will want to be very cordial and try to accommodate the buyer’s schedule in order to gain access to the home and retrieve your belongings.
